Massimo La Rocca

Massimo was born in Salerno started to work in the barber shop at the age of 16. Started traveling around Italia then jumped between England Germany and a few other locations in Europe. One day Massimo went on vacation to New York and felt that people needed his hands on it... He started fixing a lot of hair and decided to stay. He started working in New York at an upper west side in a little boutique salon and then moved to midtown to a big salon in the meat packing district in a loft salon, called Red Market. 

One day at fashion week he talked with Ric Pipino (a celebrity stylist) about opening a salon inside Ricky's. At the time it was called shears hustle and blow. We rocked and opened 3 of them now called Revolver. 

So far he is still rocking and loves what he is doing.

Katie Schember

Katie is an editorial stylist who often works in fashion in advertising. Prior to Massimo Salon Katie worked behind the chair for 15 years. Ready to quit working behind the chair, Massimo approached her with the idea of opening his salon saying "Katie, I must have you join my team". Enthused Katie leapt at the opportunity. Now, exclusively at Massimo Salon, Katie is a freelance stylist who loves working with color and highlights. Passionate about hair since the age of 16 Katie studied to become a hair stylist in the classic Sassoon methods of cutting. Katie is available by appointment only.
